The mighty Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and with good reason. This waterfall is not the highest, nor it is the widest, but it’s combined length and width makes it the world’s largest curtain of falling water – the largest waterfall in the world. A visit to the Victoria Falls is an awe-inspiring experience which combines sight, sound and feeling the thundering vibration as the water crashes more than 100 metres into the steep chasm.
A guided tour of Victoria Falls enhances your scenic adventure with a historic and geographical lesson in all things Victoria Falls as well as information on the Zambezi River. Spanning over two countries, the Victoria Falls can mostly be seen from the Zimbabwe side, where you will explore 2kms of walkway through the Victoria Falls rain-forest.
The tour of the Falls starts with a pickup from your accommodation in the morning or afternoon. You will be required to settle your park fees before entering the rain-forest. Your guide will take you on a journey around the rain-forest, introducing you to David Livingstone’s statue and the Devil’s Cataract, all the way up to Danger Point, and the Bridge view where you can see the Victoria Falls Bridge.
